Real conversations. Shared joys & struggles. Growth that sticks.
New cohorts begin August 2025
Being a dad is one of the most meaningful—and complex—roles we’ll ever play. But too often, we navigate it alone.
The Dad Collab creates space for fathers to gather in small groups, reflect honestly, and support one another in becoming the kind of dads we want to be—with more joy, more accountability, and fewer moments of quiet isolation.
Facilitated by Grown Up Dad host Joseph Gidjunis and senior producer Joshua Kagi, each group is part support circle, part mastermind—a focused space where real growth happens through story, empathy, and collective wisdom.
What to Expect:
A simple structure. A powerful impact.
Small groups, deep connection.
Each Dad Collab cohort is limited to 8 dads, creating the safety and space for real, unfiltered conversation. We meet online once a month for three months, with a clear structure, shared expectations, and trusted facilitation.
The Format
Session 1 (90 minutes)
Share your five-minute life story. Hear the stories of others. Reflect together on the joys and struggles of fatherhood.
Sessions 2 & 3 (60 minutes each)
Go deeper. Each session features 3–4 dads in a rotating “hot seat,” where they receive focused support, insight, and encouragement from the group.
Total Cost: $50
One-time payment. No subscriptions. No pressure. Just real connection.
We Didn’t Just Film a Conversation. We Started One.
When we sat down in L.A. to film a roundtable for our Lost Men episode, we didn’t expect what came next.
A group of dads opened up about what keeps them up at night—and what brings them joy. By the end, no one wanted to leave. The honesty, the laughter, the feeling of being seen—it felt like water in a desert.
The truth is: too many men are lonely, even when surrounded by family. We show up at work and at home, but often without a single space to say:
“This is hard. This is beautiful. This is who I’m trying to become.”
That’s what this roundtable became. And when the cameras stopped rolling, we realized—we needed this just as much as the story did.
That’s why we created Dad Collab.
A conversation about fatherhood, fear, laughter—and what it means to be a man who shows up.
What Comes Next?
At the end of the three sessions, participants will have the opportunity to continue in a year-long Dad Collab group—a space for deeper peer coaching, sustained connection, and real-time support. Alongside monthly live sessions, members will also have access to an ongoing asynchronous messaging community designed for everyday encouragement, idea sharing, and honest conversation.
Throughout the year, the group will be joined by trusted experts we’ve interviewed through Grown Up Dad—including researchers, doctors, authors, and educators shaping the national conversation on fatherhood. Whether you’re navigating work-life balance, evolving your identity, or simply seeking to be more present and intentional, Dad Collab offers a place to keep building—together.
