PBS underwriting is a clever way of saying brief commercials before and after a show airs on public television stations. By being an underwriter, your brand is directly associated with the goodwill mission of Grown Up Dad, which seeks to help all parents be more intentional, experience more joy and find more fulfillment.
How long is my underwriting?
Grown Up Dad offers three types of underwriting spots for broadcast and streaming on Public Television.

Who watches PBS?
PBS viewers are more likely to be highly-educated professionals than the typical TV viewer. This audience is more likely to hold a doctorate degree, take 3 vacations per year, own a pet, support the arts and have an investment portfolio worth more than $250k.
Who will see it?
Underwriters are attached for 4 years. All viewers, regardless of geography, see the same underwriting. The show runs multiple times at each station’s discretion, June 1, 2025 - May 31, 2029. As of Dec. 18, 2024, 95.47% of the country will see Grown Up Dad on broadcast television.
Underwriters are also paired with the show on all streams on PBS Passport—PBS’ streaming service with 5 million subscribers. One spot is aired with every stream, rotating evenly.
